“Beneath the Ocean Horizon” by Diandra Madeline for World Ocean Day

We are delighted to share ‘Beneath the Ocean Horizon’, an art submission by Diandra Madeline, inspired by our #iconicfishes, in honour of #WorldOceanDay.

After a visit to The University of British Columbia’s (UBC) Beaty Biodiversity Museum and learning about the Inspired by #IconicFishes movement, Diandra was inspired to connect art, science, and conservation through her creativity, and ultimately this extraordinary painting.

Her art represents a celebration of our #IconicFishes and embodies our mission of inspiring others to create.
