Project Seahorse gets creative for #IconicFishes

As a part of our ongoing celebration of creativity inspired by #IconicFishes, we are pleased to share with you highlights from Project Seahorse’s (one of our organizers) team-building activity that took place at U Paint I Fire in Vancouver, Canada.

As the team behind the Inspired by Iconic Fishes (IIF) movement, painting pottery with their very own iconic fishes was quite fitting. It was a fun way to connect as a team and discover that our scientists are not only good with data, but also with paintbrushes. More importantly, it reminded us why art matters in conservation.

Whether you paint, dance, doodle, weave, write, design jewellery, compose music, build Lego, cut potato prints or create in ways we haven’t imagined yet – Inspired by Iconic fishes is open to everyone!
